Jay Cutler was everything and then some yesterday under center. I just want to see the Jay I saw yesterday for the rest of the season. Is that too much to ask?
It’s not about just staring fast, it’s about finishing strong and the Bears have not figured out how to accomplish that on a consistent basis this season. Cutler is a gun slinger and no matter what he has learned from Marc Trestman the last year and a half, he will always trust his arm more then what the defense is giving him.
Winning the turnover battle is one of the keys to success in the NFL. Statistics show that in the NFL, teams with positive turnover ratio have a significantly higher probability of winning. The Bears defense came out of Monday night’s game plus 2 and even more importantly turned the takeaways into points.
